How can you not enjoy a BIG BOX store like BJ’s! I am here for the low gas ⛽️prices..Let’s be clear of my assignment!
The staff are very helpful and friendly & that always makes the experience better!
Kellie from Customer Service is very rude. She acts like CEO at some hedge fund, likes take her time, doesn’t care if you waiting or not.if you are not white she doesn’t care about you and store end manager racist as well.Because like this people business loosing money and customers. I don’t want deal with BJs. I better go to Costco.
It is so stupid when I am getting in , asking her to leave some stuff I bought from Walmart beside that lady on the door as I don’t have a car.
She said okay , I bought couple of items from BJ, paid , went back to her to check what I bought & the receipt 1st , then asked to take my Walmart stuff she said okay
I took my stuff & she asked to check my Walmart stuff & the receipt
I told her that makes no sense because that stuff just beside you, I didn’t take anything with me to the store so that you can check she said okay & I left
Another lady came out after me asking to check my Walmart stuff, she claimed to be a manager which I am sure she isn’t
I guess management needs to take action about silly things that bothers customers
If you are getting a deli item, get your number first and then shop to maximize your time. The app is good for the coupons, and it has most of your basics for day to day living.
I was going to buy thankgiving items this past weekend on sunday 5th of november at 11 am. I had three coupons that i intended on using and intended to spend $150 to get the free turkey but.... went to bakery bagels are too expensive i can get two packages at costco for the cost of your one package, went to dairy no cheese on the shelf big holes, looked at the turkeys but no turkey in the case more than $16 when the coupon says up to $25. I asked about the turkey from the front end and got an answer like i guess we dont have none then?????? Called the front desk from the store got a second answer asked to speak to a manager they never added a manager to the call???? Got back to the turkeys where my wife was still standing and got a third story about the turkey promo not to mention that you have to put something on your mobile device to take advantage of the promo. Left my cart, threw my hands on the air, and went to Costco instead. Oh guess what i found everything on my list there and low and behold i did not have tto look for anyone there associates all all over the store helping customers. Sad.... when is this store closing so a good one opens in warrington.
On Monday 11/13/23 at 5:00pm I went to the BJ's Warrington PA store, with the intention of purchasing a VIZIO 50" V-Series 4K LED HDR Smart TV with 2-Year Coverage (Item Number 316154) for $199.99 plus tax, as advertised on the BJ's website and app ALL DAY LONG.
After 45 minutes of waiting, I left empty handed and very frustrated. I ended going across the street to Walmart and purchasing the TV for $248 plus tax.
I asked to speak to the manager about the stock discrepancy. He checked the stock on the company computer and told me that there were 14 TV's in stock and that someone in the back would bring one out. The only TV that was brought out was for a customer who ordered one for pickup.
While I was waiting for my TV, I explained the situation to two assistant managers who looked at me like deer in headlights when I questioned the stock discrepancy. They also couldn't explain why the TV was ringing up at $249.99 when the price posted on the shelf, website and app all stated $199.99.
I spoke with a woman who had purchased the last 50" VIZIO TV off the shelf. She was going to customer service for a price adjustment because the TV rung up at $249.99. A BJ's associate said that was because the "sale" didn't start until Tuesday 11/14/23. No where was that posted on the shelf, website or app. In fact, when I tried to order the TV in-store while using the BJ's app, the cart total was $211.99.
After waiting more than 30 minutes for the store manager to come out with my TV, he told me there were no more in stock. He claims that he told me however, he walked past me numerous times helping other customer. He never came over and said there were no more TV's in stock. He didn't know when more TV's were coming in. As of Tuesday 11/14/23, app is still showing TV's in stock at $199.99.
Once again, I asked him why the app and website showed stock when there wasn't any. He said he didn't know and to be honest, he didn't seem too concerned about it. Wrong attitude to have with the holiday season approaching. Let's see if I get a response from the regional manager...
BE WARNED. MALICIOUS BUSINESS PRACTICES.
So. . . After 18+ years as a "member", our camel finally broke. The average conservative annual amount spent by us was approx $12k between food and gas alone. We canceled our membership today. The final straw was the automatic membership activation screen on self checkout registers. It is set up on the screen for automatic renewal. So if you're busy and don't read everything on the screen and uncheck the box, it will make you have automated annual membership paid. I do not like to have any payment withdraw automatically from my account. I would not mind it asking once a year, but every time you check out, absolutely malicious. We missed it one time, and it was a card that should not have been charged the membership fee. Customer services fix was to keep telling us it was our fault because we wanted/selected auto payment and to cancel our membership, then apply for new membership. And customer service multiple speeches about how its "corporates fault for the policies." But even if we we got a new membership, we would be out the rewards money from current membership. Another issue deals with the definition of the word "annual". Most define annual as 12 months. Apparently, Bjs in Warrington annual means 11 months, because the automated payment started 12/1, but for the last 6 years, I've been paying membership on 12/31. So when we canceled our membership, they didn't prorate the amount back to us.
So the moral of the story is 2 fold:
1) I want the buyer to be aware and read all the small print. even if your busy, read everything on the self checkout register. And remember your a number not a member to Bjs.
2) if you are bjs corporate and reading this, change your ways to truly make members feel like members.
We had such a HARD time with buying 1 item. My parents were supposed to get a $10 off coupon loaded in July for shopping in June, but never got it. We called the day before and spoke with Denise who said she'll help take of the issue. When we went in the next day, the person at the register went to ask some other manager to help apply this. She came back and said the manager said no. We spent about 5-10 minutes just waiting for her to come back. We said we spoke with customer service, but they didn't seem to care. After this, we went to customer service and Denise was there, so we asked her to help, as she said she would. Then, another manager there said he would check. The 1st manager came over (from near the register) and again began to make this a bit difficult. We even told her we called the day before to ask, and Denise said they would help. So why the hard time to buy just one item!!?? We spent close to 1/2 hour for this nonsense. We called the day before where Denise said they'll take care of the issue, we were only buying one item... this should NOT have taken 1/2 hour.
